Based on some estimations
The Telefónica SA approach to carbon emissions reporting is in line with the GRI guidance, and takes into account emissions associated with business travel. The Telefónica O2 UK data for 2008 is calculated on the same basis. This represents a departure from the approach adopted in previous years, when Telefónica O2 UK figures for carbon emissions excluded business-travel. Had business travel emissions been excluded from the 2008 data set shown here, the total carbon emissions would be 189,425 tonnes CO2 (uncorrected for renewables), or 111,463 tonnes CO2 (corrected for renewables).
