O2 Ireland today launched an innovative new pay monthly option that is set to revolutionise the mobile market in Ireland. O2 Clear SIM gives customers the option of signing up to one of O2’s new post pay price plans on a SIM-only basis without having to commit to a twelve or eighteen month contract. If customers wish to withdraw from O2 Clear SIM, they are only required to give 30 days notice. O2 Clear SIM is the first pay monthly option of its kind in Ireland and is expected to become a popular choice of O2 customers.
Commenting on the launch of O2 Clear SIM, Damian Devaney, Director of Marketing at O2, said: “Our customers have been telling us they would like to avail of the benefits offered by a post pay plan without getting tied into a long-term contract. In response to this we have introduced O2 Clear SIM, which combines the flexibility of a 30-day rolling contract with the best value that O2 has ever offered in a post pay price plan.”
O2 Clear SIM customers can choose one of six new O2 Clear post pay price plan options depending on their level and type of usage:
In addition to the free texts and minutes that come as standard with the new O2 Clear price plan, customers can also benefit from other support services now available with post pay price plans. These include O2 Spend Alerts, a new text service that alerts customers when they have reached a particular amount on their bill and O2’s popular SIM back up service that enables customers to save their contacts on-line in the event that they lose their phone.
