May 2007: O2's intranet-based TV and video streaming service, intraview, wins top award at the 2007 Communicators in Business Awards. O2 Ireland also won in the 'Best e-mail newsletter/ezine' category for the weekly internal email, Weekly Slice.
December 2006: O2 Ireland scoop ACCA Award for Sustainability Reporting. O2 Ireland was commended at the ACCA Ireland Sustainability Reporting Awards for the 2006 CR report. These awards reward companies around the world for excellence in environment, social and sustainability reporting. Its aim is to identify and reward innovative attempts to communicate corporate performance.
March 2006: O2 Ireland wins 'Best Company to Work for in Ireland'. The award recognises businesses where the employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy their work. The judges looked at culture, terms and benefits. In addition, some O2 Ireland employees were surveyed to measure the level of trust, credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie in the company.
November 2005: O2 Ireland wins the award for the 'Best Community Project' for the O2 Ability Awards at the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland CSR Awards.
April 2005: O2 Ireland recognised as the 'best big employer to work for in Ireland'. It was ranked in the top 10 best companies to work for in Ireland at the annual Best Companies Awards and the overall award for the best company with more than 1,000 employees. O2 beat more than 150 companies to receive the prestigious accolade.
April 2005: O2 Ireland wins the PA Consulting Group 'Management Award 2005'. The Awards recognise management excellence in Irish business and public sector organisations and attracted entries from organisations throughout Ireland.
September 2003: O2's mobile ISP portal www.o2.ie won the 'Best Use of Mobile Internet Technology' Award at the Golden Spider Awards.
September 2003: O2 Ireland was announced the 'Telecoms Company of the Year' at the ICT Excellence Awards 2003.
