• O2 DSL with O2 Prepaid Surf Stick at a preferential price

Telefónica O2 Germany will simplify its DSL offer from 4 August. All three new complete packages include a surf flat rate and a telephone flat rate to the German fixed network. From autumn, the offer will be available almost all over Germany.

"Following O2 o, we are now aligning our DSL offer even stronger to customer requirements", says Lutz Schüler, Managing Director Marketing & Sales, Telefónica O2 Germany. "O2 DSL can be cleverly combined with our mobile voice and data offer. The popular O2 Family&Office Flat Rate and the O2 Mobile Flat Rate can now be used in combination with all DSL packages."

The new DSL complete packages differ in terms of the bandwidth and integrated flat rates. The O2 DSL Complete Package for € 25 a month offers a surf flat rate and a telephone flat rate to the German fixed network at a bandwidth of up to 2 MBit/s. O2 DSL Komplett Plus (at up to 6 MBit/s) for € 30 a month in addition includes the popular O2 Family&Office Flat Rate as well as the O2 Mobile Flat Rate to the German O2 mobile network. For € 35 monthly, O2 DSL Komplett Premium (at up to 16 MBit/s) is available including the International-Flatrate-1. Customers who order O2 DSL on the O2 online shop benefit from a price advantage of € 60.

Better surfing with a combination of two: O2 DSL and O2 Prepaid Surf Stick
Customers who decide for a O2 DSL package until 12 October 2009 will optionally receive the O2 Prepaid Surf Stick including five times the O2 Internet Dayflat for a special price of € 10 one time instead of € 59.99. That way, the customer can already go online before the O2 DSL activation. The O2 Prepaid Surf Stick can subsequently be used further for mobile surfing.

The clever combination of mobile communications and fixed network
The O2 Mobile Flat Rate is ideal for all of those whose friends and acquaintances predominantly use the O2 mobile network: It covers all calls from the O2 DSL fixed network to the German O2 mobile network. The familiar O2 Family&Office Flat Rate is particularly attractive to O2 mobile customers. With O2 DSL they can make calls between their O2 DSL fixed network and their O2 mobile lines as well as between their O2 mobile lines for free. Both flat rates can also be ordered as an additional option in case they are not already included in the package.

Test O2 DSL at the launch for three months
All O2 DSL complete packages can be tested for three months. Without giving reasons, the customer can cancel the DSL connection during this period. After the three-month test phase, the term of the contract is 24 months from the activation date.

O2 DSL available almost all over Germany
From autumn, O2 DSL will be available in 95 per cent of all German households without additional Telekom connection. Customers in recently developed regions can already register in advance upon the launch of the new O2 DSL complete packages from 4 August.
