Trade unions

O2 in the UK and Manx Telecom recognise two trade unions – Connect and the Communications Worker Union (CWU). They have collective representation and Connect negotiates on behalf of managers and CWU on behalf of all non-managers.

In the UK, we have collective representation for around 85 per cent of our employees.

The trade unions are also represented on the O2 Board of Pension Trustees.
Our Employee Relations Team works closely with both unions on relevant matters, such as negotiations on changes to terms and conditions and annual pay reviews.

All O2 employees are represented in the European Works Council.

O2 Germany operates an active works council that represents its total workforce.
