Gas

Compared to electricity, our use of natural gas is relatively low. The bulk of our consumption is in our offices and retail stores. Our increase in natural gas consumption during 2006 is due to the integration of data from Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, which uses gas for office heating.

¹ Gas consumption is reported for all premises and operations where O2 is the direct customer. Rented premises are
included where possible, but some may be excluded. Numbers for 2006 cover all businesses and include Telefónica
O2 Czech Republic for the first time (including their fixed-line telephone network).
