Total employment costs (for the 10 month ended 31 January 2006) - £581m

It is our employees whose skills and hard work enable us to get our customer offer right. So our aim is to provide the conditions, strategy, rewards, development and work-life balance that make them proud to work for O2.

In 2005/06, 86 per cent of our people said they were proud to work for the company.

We aim for continuous dialogue with employees. We do this face to face, online, through internal events and works council meetings, along with various other communication methods. These include our annual Reflect O2 survey – which enables us to measure their engagement with our goals. We strive to understand what we can do together to make a difference in the workplace.
