Where does your mobile come from?

O2 buys goods and services from companies of all sizes across the world, spending more than three billion pounds a year.

We award business to our suppliers on merit and take important ethical and environmental standards into consideration.

We want assurance that our suppliers neither rely on forced labour nor use child workers, pay living wages, refrain from harsh or inhumane practices, and offer acceptable working hours and safe and healthy working conditions.

We question our main suppliers carefully and carry out audits of their businesses to ensure compliance when necessary. As a result, two of our handset suppliers have developed ethical and environmental policies of their own.
