Valuing variety and difference

We want to offer real equality of opportunity to all our employees, backed by competitive rewards.

We encourage individuals to enjoy their work, share our business goals and make choices that fit well with their personal needs, beliefs and values.

O2 supports flexible working and family-friendly policies in each of the business units. There are opportunities for part-time working at all levels as well as for people wishing to pursue community service, for women returning after maternity leave, and for people with disabilities.

In the UK, we continued to work on understanding the needs of people with different religious beliefs, providing line managers with information on key religious dates, clothing, food and rituals. This enables us also to plan work rotas to cover traditional religious holidays such as Christmas and Diwali and to identify and respect the needs of people of different faiths.

O2 endeavours to treat all employees, contractors, suppliers and customers equally.
