Telefónica O2 UK

March 2010: Telefónica O2 UK confirmed its position as one of the country's top employers by finishing sixteenth at the prestigious 'Sunday Times 2010 Best Big Companies to Work For' awards.

Telefónica O2 Germany

March 2010: In an independent study on work place culture, conducted by 'The Great Place to Work Institute', Telefónica O2 Germany was awarded 'Germany's Best Employer' in the category of companies with more than 5000 employees, of which 235 companies took part in the survey.

The results showed that 89 percent of Germany's employees said they were proud of the company and 97 percent said they felt fairly treated.

René Schuster, CEO, Telefónica O2 Germany said "the award underlines what we are very proud of at O2: our corporate culture based on team spirit, creativity and the shared willingness of employees and management to travel down new and unfamiliar paths in achieving good results."

Telefónica O2 Ireland

March 2010: Telefónica O2 Ireland were awarded second place in the Irish Independent 'Best Work Places in Ireland 2010' awards, and also awarded first place for 'Best Workplace in the Telecoms sector'.

These awards have helped Ireland to benchmark against other companies and ensure that having a great place to work continues to be something that is lived and experienced everyday through our people.
