Myanmar (Burma) Cyclone Appeal

You're no doubt aware of the terrible disaster that recently hit Myanmar (Burma).

The destruction has been phenomenal, with entire villages destroyed and loss of life to thousands of people, with thousands more, homeless, hungry and without clean water.

The DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) has announced an appeal for donations. The DEC will distribute its funds to the key emergency relief agencies operating in the country.
 
You can donate £1.50 by texting the word donate to 83696. Your donation will cost £1.50 plus your standard network message charge, with £1.50 including VAT (23p) donated in full to the Disasters Emergency Committee.  This promotion will end 31 May 2008 (midnight).
